The EBRNetwork (Evidence-Based Research Network) is the continuation of the work of EVBRES (EVidence-Based RESearch), an interdisciplinary research and innovation network with over 40 participating countries, which sought to promote an evidence-based approach in clinical research. The aim of the EBRNetwork is to increase the quantity of valuable research by promoting the use of systematic reviews to justify and inform the design of new studies. Similarly, the EBRNetwork advocates for placing the results of new studies in context by explicitly considering previous evidence, ideally incorporating new findings into a systematic review.
The Epistemonikos Foundation was a part of EVBRES, which was funded by the European Union through the research and innovation funding agency COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) under COST Action CA-17117 between 2018 and 2022, which was extended until April 2023. Currently, the Epistemonikos Foundations is a member of the EBRNetwork.
